Freezing temperatures, wind, sleet, and snow are not an issue with the Yoder Smokers thermal jacket, creating true efficiency during those cold winter months. Each jacket is designed with five-layer construction to prevent thermal loss that occurs as the temperature outside begins to drop. Insulating the body of the cooking chamber, the thermal jacket is ideal for use at 300° and below. Use of thermal jacket retains the heat therefor reducing pellet usage on those cold days. We recommend removing the three-piece thermal jacket for those cooks above 300°, as it was designed for smoking temperature ranges.
